ARE YOU THE RIGHT CANDIDATE FOR SCAR CAMOUFLAGE?

Scar or Skin Camouflage Micro Pigmentation is a form of medical or paramedical tattooing. This process is also called Corrective Pigment Camouflage (CPC), Corrective Camouflage, Skin Repigmentation, Scar Camouflage, Skin Camouflage, Camouflage Tattooing, and Skin Color Tattooing. For you to undergo scar camouflage or reduction treatment, your scar should be +6 months old. This way, the scar tissue on the area is healed and it’s safe for us to proceed with the treatment. Moreover, scar camouflage is most suitable for areas that aren’t exposed to the sun. Keep in mind that scar camouflage doesn’t cover up raised scars; it only reduces their appearance. It is also very effective on smooth, flat scars that don’t have any dark edges. For those suffering with raised scars, we also provide scar reduction via micro needling and massage therapy treatments to assist in scar reduction and appearance.

Our permanent makeup specialists will be transparent with you about what to expect from your scar camouflage treatment. We will let you know the level of effectiveness, when you’ll start seeing results, and how long they will last for. To ensure the success of the treatment, we take extra precautions at our facility, guaranteeing all utensils are sterile and all materials are safe for your skin. We want you to have a quick recovery, which is why we go the extra mile to make sure every step is according to standard.

What are the benefits of scar camouflage?

The physical benefits are obvious; scar micropigmentation can minimize or erase scars, discoloration, burns, stretchmarks, as well as minimize breast scarring after mastectomy. But perhaps the most important change that comes with getting the treatment is psychological. Camouflaging an imperfection can mean liberation, give the person a confidence boost, eliminate a source of stress and discomfort, and contribute to the quality of their life in general.

Scars are often physical reminders of painful experiences and cause emotional trauma, so covering up the scar once and for all can be a part of the healing process.

Doctor Milne will consult with you to determine what treatment is suitable and the number of treatments required to achieve your goals. If you have a problematic scar, you know that no amount of makeup or clothing can ever cover it completely. If you want your old self back, using permanent cosmetics in Edmonton, AB Canada we can make your skin flawless again. The process is simple, virtually painless, safe, and guaranteed to hide your scar(s)! Give yourself a chance! Because you matter and you are worth it and most importantly because the world is a better place with you in it!
